kamool kon rikanaan ro!

Yet again another heavenly week in Heavensville. definitely cannot complain.

exciting news- Justin got baptized on Saturday YAY !! their family is seriously the best. a little bit ago we were at there house & I thought one of them was just playing with my hair but come to realize about 30 minutes later my hair was being filled with gel. at that point at look at my dear companion, sister hassler and see that she too has been given a beautiful hairdo. the best part was that right after that we had an appointment with the stake president.

story- we were moving a marshallese family and just had our car & the elders car to move stuff so we were making trips back and forth and then we ran into 3 king sized mattresses and thought uhuh that's not going to happen. so we got ahold of a truck but could only take one load so we loaded the 3 king mattresses and a couch in there without straps and with only the hand of the Lord involved did that arrive there safely as we drove on a very busy rode.

yummy- last night we were @ our marshallese friends house and she asked if I wanted to try boktoktok piik so I was like yeah of course so I eat this spoonful of a black grainy substance with crunchy pieces in it & it is extremely spicy & come to find out I had eaten pig blood cooked with some cartilage & let's just say, not my favorite thing I've eaten. so YUMMY !!

spiritual- we were so blessed to have the opportunity to hear from our wonderful prophet this week. his words were powerful and sunk deep into my heart. gratitude really is everything. look around us. even through the difficult times, we have more than we can even comprehend to be grateful for. showing that gratitude is powerful. there was a time in my mission when that expression of gratitude was what kept me going through a very difficult time. express your thanks to Heavenly Father for all he has done for you & show that by loving & serving those around you. when it's hardest serve is when we should do it most and when it will make is the happiest. service & gratitude truly are the remedy to all trouble and sorrow. Psalms 100:4 says, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." especially with this week being thanksgiving week, take some time to show a little more gratitude in prayer or in word, serve a little more, & love a little more.

today I am grateful for many things, a few of which being:
- my family & friends
- not having to eat pig blood everyday
- the opportunity to serve a mission
- a loving Savior & a loving Heavenly Father
- this beautiful earth & all that we have in it
- the blessings of following Jesus Christ

& countless other things.
