Property of 'Christ'

Well I can't believe its almost May and I have almost been out for 3 months??what the. This week was absolutely the GREATEST!! So many amazing spiritual experiences! It's hard to describe why weeks are so good not gonna lie. Good news though!! Currently our mission has about 110 missionaries. Yesterday President Hughes told us within the next few transfers we will be getting 170 more missionaries!! He also said there is a very high possibility of ending up in a trio because of how many missionaries want to serve, YAY!! One of my favorite things we studied this week was what it means to take upon ourselves the name of Christ. I honestly wasn't even exactly sure what that meant and I still don't fully know. But we were talking about how when we were kids our moms would write our names on our coats or our lunch boxes so that if they got lost, people would know who they belonged to and where to return them to. This really helped me to understand a little more of why the Sav...

Purpose Without A Path

Yesterday marked 1 month in "shelter" and honestly it felt like a year and a week. Looking back on the month I can't believe how much happened. I'm not going to lie to yall there were certainly many moments that I thought "what am I actually doing out here?" In those moments Heavenly Father quickly showed me exactly why I am here and showed me I need to be grateful. This whole thing has made me realize how much we have to be grateful for every single day. I'm grateful that we have a loving Heavenly Father who has blessed us with simply the ability to progress, not only in this life but in the life to come. Just a simple blessing of progression has brought me so much purpose and joy this week. It's so so amazing how perfect Heavenly Father's plan for us is because it ALWAYS gives us something to work towards. There are many instances in my life where I have worked really hard to achieve something and then once gotten it, it didn't bring me as...

'Clicking' For Joy

I love LOVE Easter, I am so grateful for our Savior at this time. On Easter morning we got the opportunity to have a zoom meeting with all of the Sisters in the mission to share our testimonies of Jesus Christ. There was so much power in everybody sharing their love and dedication to their Savior at that time. I truly love Him and am beyond grateful for the many roles he plays in my life. Our Mission President invited us at zone conference to go outside early Easter morning and watch the sunrise and just ponder what the Savior has done for us personally, that was a very special experience for me. I can't even really comprehend all that He has done for me or express how grateful I am for Him. We truly wouldn't be here or have anything without Him. Alma 26:35, "there never were men that had so great reason to rejoice as we, since the world began; yea and my joy is carried away" I LOVE this verse because we have EVERY reason to rejoice at this time because of our Savior....

"The Lord Loves Effort!"

First of all, conference was the BEST!! & we have now joined everybody else in basically full lockdown, our mission President called us yesterday morning and said we now have to stay in our apartment except we can leave twice a day for a few minutes of exercise. As far as being in our apartment we have found great ways to entertain ourselves. The Elders "gave" us a mini pool table which has been quite enjoyable. We also moved our table right in front of the window so we can watch outside as we eat and it's basically like watching the discovery channel with all the wildlife out here. One night there was 4 squirrels, 2 birds, and a rabbit and I honestly REALLY enjoyed it!! It has honestly been an amazing week, general conference lived up to every ridiculously high expectation I had. Somehow Sister West and I are still really enjoying ourselves and the work even though it's hard to feel effective often times. I know Heavenly Father is blessing us with feeling such gr...
